We scan photos at 300 dpi because the vast majority of people correctly choose 300 dpi for 99% of their ordinary photo scanning needs. We include an automated photo enhancement service to eliminate red eye, adjust color and contrast, brightness and sharpness. This is not restoration. We include a complete set of the original untouched photo scans and a set of enhanced scans on a high quality DVD-R.
